This paper provides, through the use of Cubic-Spline Interpolation, a new polynomial for Storage of Charge(SOC) solution of the secondary battery. It also gives a explicit expression witch permits direct computation of the proposed polynomial coefficients. From the simulation results based on real SOC, it is shown that this new approach is more accurate and computationally efficient than previous SOC solutions.
